Date Night at the Bookstore!

Buying books together is a great way to get to know someone better. And I just heard the best idea for a bookstore date!

Here’s what to do:

Head to the bookshop with your friend or sweetheart and the intention to purchase 3 books each.

  1. A book you would like the other person to read because you feel it defines your personality and reading tastes.
  2. A book that you feel suits the tastes of the other person, a book you think they will love!
  3. A book you decide upon together so you can read it to each other or read at the same time.

This date idea is great for booklovers to use anytime, but if your passion is bookstores, mark your calendar for indie bookstore day this Saturday, April 30th. Purchasing from a local store helps strengthen your community and supports writers. Share this experience with someone you care about and spread the love!
